Today I had passed an IH? rollback truck with a very straight looking D4 7U on the back of it... It was southbound shy of Pleasant Grove, CA on 99/70. I am hoping a fellow CAT collector or member here had purchased it. It caught my attention, as it was a tailseat unit with full orchard fenders and side curtains. Very nice looking "barn find" looking, not all clobbered up looking, as I did a headspin to get a better look. Sadly, I hope it was not headed to the steel recycle center in Sacramento. Does anyone here know anything about it? It likely came from my own area, and perhaps I am disappointed that I let one slip away from me! JM
