Had to pull the eisemann mag and cleaned it up a bit. Want to make sure I get the marks exact going back together and can't turn up my dads manuals anywhere. This is for a D2.
I think I've got it right, but would love to see the page from the book. Can someone help please?I also tried searching to no avail.
Thank you

Theres a plug on the front side of where the magneto is mounted. If you remove it you'll see the timing marks, the one you want will be an M with dot stamped in the gear. Just line the dot on the gear and the magneto gear and you will be good. If you're worried you can make sure the piston is at TDC and visually check the rotor is lined up with the contact

Thanks Gary. The gear for the pony was at tdc and the dot was in view of the plug. The magneto had an M and then a tooth and then the dot. I put the pony gear dot between the two of those. I really need to find these manuals. Thanks again
