Crankcase Oil Spec. Needed

More

Been a long while since I have posted on this board. Anyway, hope all you Cat folks are doing well in this COVID era we find ourselves in. My question is what is the recommended WT. and spec. # for the crankcase oil in a D4/7U dozer. I have used Delo-400 in 30 WT in the past, but now it has the LE designation. Don't know if I should be using this oil. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

In my D4-7U 1950 I have used the same oil in the D4 as I run in all my green tractors and that is Cenex TMS 15W 40. Had the valve covers off the 112 a couple years ago and it was sparkling clean inside. Used TMS since about 1990.
