Picked up a PTO and a BeGe set at a sale and would like some help to identify. I think the pto is for a 7j d4 but will it interchange with any other model?  What does the pattern of the BeGe housing look like it will fit?  Thanks, Mike

The BeGe looks like it might be for an International tractor.

Without physically seeing them, I am thinking they may fit an S or PS THIRTY.

The mount on the pump is the right bolt pattern for D4. But needs more length to get it out behind the seat. But AC HD 5 and IH TD 9 both have the same bolt pattern and the seats don't overhang the case so could fit ether. But the drive shaft would need to be different for each I think.

Doing more thinking does the D4 C and D still have that bolt pattern on case. Because there seats don't hang out the back ether.

That should fit a U, C or D series D4. To get more seat/tank clearance, sometimes an in/out box I call them will do it. Lever position makes a difference too, if you’re not using the tower style, say cable controls, only worry is having the oil reservoir fit under the tank.
AC bolt pattern is reversed, wider on bottom than top.
An IH uses a much longer snout base from what I’ve seen. Nice find on both items.

Thanks everyone for helping me on this. I will check my 20j d4 later today and see what the rear cover looks like. Would be great if that would be an option, my 7j already has a Hyster D4 winch on it. Might have to find a 7U to add to the operation. Neighbor has some td6 and TD 9 tractors I will look at them and see if I can determine if that is a match for the Be Ge hydraulic system. Thanks again, Mike

My D4D has the same bolt pattern on the back so I think that both the PTO and the BeGe hydraulic unit are for D4 cats. Wondering if the gearing might be newer for addressing the higher operating rpm’s of the newer tractors? Looks like other differences would be the engaging lever for the different series of D4’s. Thanks again, Mike
