i am thinking of a way to mount a alternator on my d46u and driving it with the fan belt. insteand of messing around with the original generator/ regulator set up i know someone has come up with ways to convert to alternators using the factory drive location but that involves accurate machining i dont have the gear for that and paying for it to be done well that becomes expensive fast.

so what section type are those belts longer belts are easily found and segnent belting exists so thats a non issue.
and if belts are available pulleys are too.
