Singer the CAT 30 got a great new home last week. A nice family from the North Coast of California are the proud new owners. I cannot be happier.
This tractor keeps spreading joy.
As mentioned, proceeds would go to fund The Margery Magill Memorial Fund. The tractor sold for over $4000.00, and the auctioneer donated his commissions as well.
I also promised to share some with the buyers choice of charity or non profit of choice. So, the Cystic Fibrosis folks got some $ from it as well. The new owner Shaun will join ACMOC, so I vowed to donate some to a chapter, luck would have it he wants to join 15, so I guess our local chapter will have some more $ for our slush fund.
This tractor just keeps on spreading the joy.
Word was she got first prize for being the oldest, not to mention the brightest display in Ferndale’s Christmas Parade! Is that cool or what???!!!

Last I heard, Mr. Mayor of Placerville, CA aka VeerCat, was going to inquire if Traynham Ranches in Arbuckle, CA would be able to host the next one in February?
St. Judes truck show Sutter, CA possibly in April, AND an added attraction is the ATHS truck show at the Amador fair grounds. What makes 2021 special (that is if the show is allowed) they have agreed to allow tractors to work/play in a dirt pit/lot on site! So I am expecting to see more "period correct" truck/trailer/tractor/implement combinations.

Sure as heck isn't the ECM!!! If I recall, the mag switch does not work on it. Special effects! If I am able to resize some photos, I will add more to the post. JM
