Cat 943 1981 EMS does not turn on

Hello ,
I bought a caterpillar 943. I have big problems in the ems system.
IT DOES NOT ACTIVATE IN ANY WAY, no lights come on, alarm does not turn on, buzzer does not turn on. I checked all the fuses and they look fine. I have verified that the current reaches where the fuses are. I can't understand how the terminals go to ground. Thanks for any help.

It could be your EMS is no good, they did used to offer a reman unit, i will check my wiring diagram tomorrow when I get time, you should get lights on when the isolator switch is on, the panel is activated by a second oil pressure switch but I doubt that's the problem.

Hi Team,
most Cat machines have a main fuse that is a manually pressed reset button type thermal circuit breaker that after it cools then can be reset by pushing the colored button. If the button jumps back up the unit usually needs to cool some more or the overload is still active or the unit is kaput.
The button also should have its amperage rating displayed on the top of said button--the buttons are also colour coded for the particular amperage rating used.
Been too long since I worked on one of these, to recall the location of said breaker button but in most instances the Button can be on the dash panel or side of the operators seat near the trans control levers--it may also be on the fuse panel too for one of these machines.
I stand to be corrected.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Hi .
Yes, there are two buttons to click. It should be the 60 amp one. The problem is that nothing turns on, no courtesy lights or ems control unit, nothing at all .... strange.
It should be noted that the cat when I took it was exactly like this .... no light worked
thanks

Hi, uisum.
Does the machine still run? If so, does it also do what it is supposed to do without drama?

A kew-ree-yuss mind would like to know.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I've looked at the wiring diagram tonight as follows.
60 amp circuit breaker supply's cab power including start circuit.
5amp fuse to EMS , check fuse holder as I've known them not to make a circuit if the wrong fuse is used.
Also earth/ground wire from EMS to the isolator switch.

Hello thanks.
I'm checking all the cables. The fuses are ok
I don't understand where the earth has to go.
For you experts, I wanted an opinion on the flywheel.
Seems pinched is it serious?
The starter they will change it.
I attach some pictures

Yes it works, but I would like to fix the electrical problems. The electrical contacts are all it is better to have a machine control
