Our friend and CAT herder(or hoarder to some) D4e shared with me.
He obtained a truckload of goodies, which included a dry air cleaner for a D4 7U.
These parts came from tractors that sacrificed themselves to make others live btw.
I for one, always wondered if the vacuum restriction gauges really worked or not on anything so equipped.
The tractor had one at one time, prior to me getting it.
Anyways, John sent me a photo of what I thought was a Bundt cake he made for himself , as he has an affinity for sweet things.
NOT!!! It was the dust bowl precleaner!
I don’t know what the air filter looked like.
Perhaps he was upset because I had not included a sack of mouse morsels for Mickey that was also living in the bowl.
I have asked John to return the dirt, as I do not have full mineral rights from here.
One cannot assume anything anymore. I thought it was heavy because of high quality steel...
Amazingly the D4 ran fine by the way. JM

That's pretty impressive, but I think it might be angel food cake.

Hi, juiceman.
Might need to look at either the recipe or the baking temps and times 'cos it appears a little crumbly in places. Other than that, quite an effort.

If it has gone unnoticed this long, I don't think I would worry too much about the mineral rights issue. It'd take a government department to sniff it out now and I yaint gonna tell 'em if you won't.

There might be a pest control issue though, with that much dirt being transported. But some time inna bromide tent should fix that.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Why empty a puny little jar every few days when you can get a Donaldson pre-cleaner and clean it once a decade?? :) :)

Believe me fellers, I was surprised too. The tractor that it came from worked in the lower Yuba River bottoms, some of the richest soil in the entire state. So, good that many of those farmers need not apply any fertilizers.
I will go to my local TSC store and buy some flower seeds for him, and possibly a pen for Mighty Mouse.
I suspect the limb guard they added to the hood created too much effort for them to empty out the precleaner bowl.
The main and pony both ran just dandy.
Never seen a full bowl in my life.
