Good Morning:
The crankcase capacity on the Sixty is 20 quarts.
Attached is Form 2032 "Lubricants Recommended for Caterpillar Machines". This sheet was an insert to the 60 Serviceman's Manual.
I run SAE 40, non detergent in mine all year round. Most anything "CBS" (cheap, black and slippery" will be fine.

The Thirtys use the same oil pan and both are like Phildirt said very happy with a 5 gallon bucket of oil.

Only 20 years? Don't need to rush maintenance.
Pull the left rear door (engine side plate) and lift out and clean the oil strainer assembly - you will probably find some strange and wonderful stuff in the bottom.
The parts book and attachments parts book show 3 different sump parts numbers and 4 different "oil gauge" and "elbow" part numbers (your tractor should have left the factory with 2653-A elbow and 2655-A plunger).
When you fill it with 5 gallons of fluid, see where it comes on the dipstick. You may need to make a different mark to show as full.
Send me a PM with your email address and I will send you a specification sheet I have put together on the 60.
