Not that familiar with the different winches so I need to know if a Cat no 25 winch will bolt up to a 58 D6 9U with hydraulic lift cylinders.

Along with the #25CCU you need the adapter to mount to the 9U. Also the matching pinion is preferred (but not absolutely required) to best match line speed.

Coming off a D6C it will have the correct pinion, adapter and coupling shaft to mount to a 9U. About the only difference is the D6C uses higher mount control arm levers and is designated a #126 CCU with a s/n 32E1-up. Still basically a #25 CCU.

Ahumm Ahumm... Its called a Cable Control Unit.
Just had to correct that. lol Mag had it right though, CCU.

Yeah I know its an old habit of calling it a winch. Just used to having to use simple terms with the people I work with otherwise their lost.
