Im sure there is a thread that discusses this but I could not find it. Does anyone have any knowledge about where to source the parts and how to install glow plugs on a D47U if I decide to install an electric starter. I see a lot of discussion surrounding the starter itself but not a lot about the rest of the system. I live in the north and I dont think the D4 would start without some sort of pre heating. Has anyone ever tried an intake heater vs the glow plugs? Thanks.

What's the s/n? Glow plug chambers fit heads on s/n 7U19787-up. Earlier heads would need to have the chamber bores enlarged to fit glow plug chambers or find a set of later heads.

My SN is 7U43126 so it looks like that would work. So it is as simple as ordering the chambers and glow plugs (minus the wiring harness)?
