This was at the neighbors a couple of weeks ago. We had about 22 bottoms in the ground with many different brands out playing.

Wow! He must be running in 4th. I spent many hours on my Dad's D2, which I'm sure was a J model, pulling a 3-16 moldboard in 3rd and sometimes in 2nd when the going got tough.

That is some good topsoil! You couldn't do that here in NW Ohio! Take a high hp D4 to pull four bottom in second.

There were times down in the quack grass that I was in second gear. I had this unit on the Prony brake at WSMSTR a couple years ago just for fun and it pulls a little over 40 HP.
It has been a farm tractor its whole life here in the Red River Valley. ( no rocks)
