Just tried to myself and I can't reply to it either. I have logged it as an issue.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

davo727,
By clicking on the link you included in your post, I was able to reply. See "TEST reply to old posts."

That's interesting "Test reply" was what I was trying to type in as a reply to your last post in that thread, to see if I could create a reply.
Interestingly, one other question I have logged is " can a thread title be edited", because I was unable to change the title of one of my own threads. Now it appears we've answered that question, just need to figure out what I did on your thread!
I do remember trying to enter a subject for my reply but I couldn't type into that field (no entry traffic sign displayed).

I really don't know what is going on or why the thread changed to TEST reply to old post. Maybe my Administrator privilege's grant me magic powers!

Hi Team,
an annoying thing is it takes some 8 clicks to get to Forums when logging in and nearly as many to get out again.
Also just encountered that when I Edit a post the BB compresses out all the line, paragraph and sentence structure spacing so people have to read a compressed text which for a long post can be very confusing and tiring.
I see some people giving up as it is too hard to follow--it tends to make one look like a lazy typist.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Have just Edited this as an example to the same posted above so you can see what I am pointing out.
OK so this did not compress as was done to a post I did with attachments earlier today---see post #222978

Hello Eddie,
I had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago but later on the edit was corrected. have no idea what happened or corrected it.
This search engine and its peculiarities really bug me. I still have not found the smileys!!
Tried to go to post 222978 but when I get there from the search there is no posting number on the page to tell me if I am there or not. Never did understand the significance of the posting number. I end up on a page that contains the number 222978 but it is in the text and not the posting number. Maybe someone can show me how to search using the posting number??
