Thinking of going to look at this:

First off, I don't think a Clark 55 C loader came with a 3208 from the factory, still researching. Ad says the 3208 needs an injector pump. I have an injector off of a 3208 from an old international dump truck

I'm assuming it's naive to think I can just swap out the injector pump and go? I see the 210 HP sticker on the valve cover of the 3208 in the loader, does that give any clue where that engine may have come from? Truck/marine?

give them scrap price or run
How does one go about figuring scrap price on a machine like this? It's a 12 ton machine.
Seller wants $4000 but on a machine like this I would not offer more than $2000, which is still above scrap price I think. I don't know what HP the 3208 in my truck was setup for, but I am betting the 3208 put into this machine is out of a truck, so am hoping it would just be a matter of installing the injector pump I have. Of course, there could be something else wrong with this 3208...
This would be a yard machine, something to tinker with, help with a pond excavation and other various projects.
