Early Case 850 crawler loader gauges??? (That shares a barn with a Cat)

I know this is not the right forum, but I can't find the answer I want.
Dad's old loader has one gauge working--the transmission temp--
I have bought a torque convertor temp gauge ( for $130.00)
the torque convertor pressure gauge is another $120.00 for a 0 to 80 PSI mechanical gauge 1/8" oil line, the oil it measures is the transmission/hydraulic oil.
The engine oil gauge is $50.00, it is a 0 to 80 PSI mechanical gauge 1/8" oil line, and measures engine oil.
My question is will the engine oil gauge work to replace the torque convertor pressure gauge?

Thanks

Yes, a pressure gauge of the correct range should interchange positions.
Markings on the face won't match positions - "Engine Oil" verses Transmission Oil".
Very common to see aftermarket gauges installed in Farm equipment with only the Owner actually knowing what Temps & Pressures those gauges actually read.

Replied by edb on topic Transmission Pressure Gauge
Hi Team,
you may need around a 600 PSI gauge for this application--I know it is not a Cat but Cat Trans. test gauges for the clutch and steering on a Powershift/T/Converter drive machine are 600 PSI units.
I Googled and could not find specs. for your machine to be sure of the clutch test pressures.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

I too thought it was odd that the Trans pressure was only a Max of 80 which is why I used the disclaimer of " correct range".......

Everyone, Thanks for the Replies, I went ahead and ordered from a Case Dealer at $120.00 for the torque convertor oil gauge (for the operating psi). On the bright side, it won't be cheap chinese junk.

I wouldn't bet on it.
