Hi Mangnoman,
You are saying you are using Autolite 386, i just looked up the specs on them and they say they have a resistor in them. You may want to change them to non resistive plug as magnetos do not like the resistive type, it will kill your magy eventually.

Try a NGK: AB6 (Stock no. 2910) non resistive

Hi Team,
if you have shelled out the $$'s for a plug that is deemed not compatible with a magneto ignition system then you may like to try this trick.




EDIT--some traditional designation numbered/lettered spark plugs are sold as non-resister and so may not have the usual R after the plug designation numbers/letters but when tested with an ohm meter they have resistance.

Your results may vary--worked for me.
