Is this red fender tool box Cat? The yellow 1 is as I know it. Photos enclosed was created by ag-mike

Lids are the same size, the red 1 doesn't have a side seam plus the bottom and sides are 1 piece.

For sure Cat toolbox.

Yellow 1 has hard 90* bottom corners, the red 1 has rounded radius ed bottom corners.

Maybe the red 1 is later production and it could be Cat too?

At least the later ones are one piece drawn construction....I'd have to look through my collection to tell if earlier ones had separate bottoms.

Maybe the yellow 1 with the vertical seem is for D2? There aren't any D2's on your list?

So by the parts numbers there are way more than 2 or 3 different boxes that are all Cat. From past discussion I was thinking D2 and D4 where the same and then all the rest for the same time period anyway.But enough parts numbers to confuse me.

Sooo, did IH crawlers have fender toolboxes? I'm not that familiar with IH crawlers. The red 1 looks 2b original IH paint. thanks.

I’ve got some IH crawlers (yes, plural) that have toolboxes that are basically the same. I’m wondering if the manufacturers had the same vendor provide boxes for all of them?
