Recently purchased a new project. ( Adding to list 6 or 7 that are moving along some better than others)
Very original D2 5U with angle blade, stuck master clutch and rust swelled steering clutches. Bottom is very nice measures approx. new, minor wear.

I got the bright idea to add upper carrier rollers. Which look to be a bolt on. I bought 2 brackets 6F3111. I was told they were different heights, which they were. One is 8 1/2 to center of shaft, the other is 9 3/4. Both marked with same part # and U and 5U. I can make a spacer but it wouldn't change the function. But why the difference in height? What would change?
