It would be a good idea to pick up an operators manual and parts book for your machine from someone on this board or on eBay. There are usually some good used manuals and I would recommend you stay away from some of the high priced poorly copied reproductions on eBay. Your track rollers are either the button grease type or the oil filled ones that take different grease / oil.

On these old machines often the parts on the machine have been updated and or replaced and are not the original type, particularly on track rollers. If you get a chance send us a picture of the "new" toy.

Welcome, your tractor should be equipped with lifetime oil filled rollers that do not need serviced until rebuild. Engine oil filter from Cat will be a 1R0659.

i use a regular lever grease gun and corn head grease in my bottom rollers. i just got a buttonhead fitting and put it on a hose. caution when filling the rollers is to pump slow and when you feel a little back pressure you need to stop so you don't blow the seals.
