I have a 24 volt starter on my D2 5U. There isn't an identification plate on the starter. Can someone identify this starter for me (i.e. 40MT, 50MT, etc)?
My D2 parts book references two different starters but doesn't show any details for the drive assembly. If someone has a parts breakdown for the drive assembly then it would be helpful.

That's an early Delco 40MT starter with clutch type bendix drive.
