If all of you who are rebuilding and repainting CATS. and want as true as I have ever seen highway yellow in my 50 years of running them this is IT!! I am a self taught farmer painter who has learned this by trial and ERROR this is the best longest lasting finish you can get, if you sandblast, prime with 2 part primer and take your time you can get a gloss you can see your reflection in that will last 20 years!!! I failed to put in my post DuPont industrial IMRON is now Axalta industrial IMRON the paint code listed is a DuPont code but should cross over to any automotive paint line, another good less expense I’ve line is Martin Senior Crossfire Urathane. I painted a Murray Scraper with it nice gloss! Numbers should cross match HOPE this helps This is a dead on match to highway yellow never seen a better one! 17afarmer. Mike

How do you think it compares to the ACMOC hiway yellow paint card? I'm curious because I recently purchased the card, and having seen machines painted hiway yellow, the ACMOC card - at least to my untrained eye - seems closer to modern cat yellow.

I have never seen the. ACMOC paint card just been around a lot of cat yellow, NO need for me to look further , go to your nearest paint store and have them mix a sample they will do that I am pretty darn particular I have no need to look further!! 17afarmer

17Afarmer; I'm having trouble finding the Imron paint online that you recommended.
Does the QH reference the Polyurethane topcoat? Does the 3133 reference the yellow color? What does the reference "D STD #644735" mean?

to answer your question I do not have any idea if you can buy IMRON on the internet,I have a local paint dealer with a very experienced salesman that knows how to find colors and match and mix paint, the numbers I posted should be able to be used by any axalta paint store to get Highway Yellow. 17A farmer

You have an AXAlTA paint store in Stockton and one in Modesto and Turlock they can mix cat yellow! 17afarmer
