If all of you who are rebuilding and repainting CATS. and want as true as I have ever seen highway yellow in my 50 years of running them this is IT!! I am a self taught farmer painter who has learned this by trial and ERROR this is the best longest lasting finish you can get, if you sandblast, prime with 2 part primer and take your time you can get a gloss you can see your reflection in that will last 20 years!!! IMRON 2.1 hg plus QH-3133. D STD #644735. 17afarmer. Mike

I failed to put in my post DuPont industrial IMRON is now Axalta industrial IMRON the paint code listed is a DuPont code but should cross over to any automotive paint line, another good less expense I’ve line is Martin Senior Crossfire Urathane. I painted a Murray Scraper with it nice gloss! Numbers should cross match HOPE this helps This is a dead on match to highway yellow never seen a better one! 17afarmer. Mike

How do you think it compares to the ACMOC hiway yellow paint card? I'm curious because I recently purchased the card, and having seen machines painted hiway yellow, the ACMOC card - at least to my untrained eye - seems closer to modern cat yellow.

17Afarmer; I'm having trouble finding the Imron paint online that you recommended.
Does the QH reference the Polyurethane topcoat? Does the 3133 reference the yellow color? What does the reference "D STD #644735" mean?
Thanks for the recommendation!

to answer your question I do not have any idea if you can buy IMRON on the internet,I have a local paint dealer with a very experienced salesman that knows how to find colors and match and mix paint, the numbers I posted should be able to be used by any axalta paint store to get Highway Yellow. 17A farmer
