I thought about this yesterday, I am pretty sure that gear Box is an early PTO drive not a "3 point lift". This leads me to agree that it had a winch on the back, not a 3 point implement. My opinion is that most Tractors sold in the early years of Pennsylvania were for Logging not so much Farming. I have seen those Hysters adapted to the back end of Fordson tractors which didn't have a rear PTO. they would run a chain drive from the front belt pully shaft all the way to the back. I have some photo's somewhere of a similar setup?
BTW: That isn't a tailseat but an early seat that was similar to like the early 30's had.
