Need help with D6C carrier roller rebuild

The bearings in one of my carrier rollers seized.

I disassembled and ordered new parts from my parts book. My serial number is 10K401.

The cross section in the book did not look exactly like the roller I took apart, but went ahead and ordered the parts. None of the parts will fit. So I either have the wrong parts book for my machine, or the wrong rollers.

Here is what is in my parts book:



Mine is a solid wheel. It does not have IM-7910-Support Assembly. That cup for the seal is machined right into the roller.

The only part I ordered that was correct was the large o-ring for the end cap, 2H6338.

The bearings-IM-7911 & IM-7912 are too large in diameter. The Timken bearings I took out were JLM 104948 for the cone, and JLM 104910 for the cup. These just have Timken numbers on them, they do not have CAT stamped in them, so I figured they were just replacements someone used, and not CAT part numbers.

The seal assemblies I got are smaller in diameter that the ones I took out. 2M2858.

The o-ring to seal the collar assembly, 7F8267 is too big.

And the ring to hold the collar on, 5H34 is also too big.

I'm hoping someone can find me a cross section in a parts book of a solid roller for a D6 that has a plate with two bolts in it for a bearing retainer instead of the nut shown in my parts book, IM7916.

The early style like you show ran to sr # 10K3543
The next style ran from 10K3544 to 6584 (as shown)
At 10K6584 - up only the plate (11) changed to pt # 8P6188

More common to see after market replacements as no body rebuilds these anymore.

The picture you provided looks like it's what I have...

Only thing is I have a solid roller, don't have one with the outter portions of the roller presed on.

And I can see where this roller was rebuitlt once. As I can see an old rust line on the portion of the shaft that goes into the split clamp.
