Removing steering clutches. D6b

I am working on replacing the steering clutches on my D6B 44A11367

I am to the point of removing the inner bolts holding the clutch assy. The outer bolts come out through a removable plug. The inner ones are more difficult. If you have done this is there a trick to it? 15/16" open end wrench is all insee that fits. Thanks for the help.

When you remove the stering cluch assambly you should removed 1 bolt inside and a bolt outside and the inside bolts have a lock bolt

Thats what I thought. Is there a specific type of wrench for those inner bolts? 15/16" open end fits them. Doesn't seem to be enough room for a box end.

Steering clutch service is a big project. I scanned these pages from an original D6B Caterpillar Service Manual that I have for sale, send me a PM if you want to buy it.
