Well I got the pony off my D2. The crank has serious play and the key for the ballencer has a slopped out slot. So I need to look into some parts pricing. Where do you guys look for pony parts? Likely need a crank and bearings. I didn’t pull the crank out yet but I can see needing to do the whole thing. I need to evaluate whether I want to keep moving forward with this project. I want to just not sure how much money I want to dispose of in the process. Thanks again.

If you grind the crank and put in new bearings, seals, rings, you're looking at about $800 last time I did it.

I have also had those keyways welded and recut, of coarse they get cut back to exactly where they were or else. Even the had the area where the gear fits built up and reground, the gear was loose and just slid on before.

Check the for sale section I think Gemdozer has some pony parts still.
I have a couple of pony motors tore apart and might be able to help also
