Hyster D2N question

Thanks for checking guys.....I read several Hyster manuals and it appears the D4N is same as D2n when attaching ferrule and wire. That is , as Dan was saying , it holds under pressure with a couple "nubs". The D6 models were different in that there is a bolt hole and a clamp to hold ferrule in place. Also what was interesting on the D6 winch was there is a piece of round stock tapered to fit the wire groove not being used. It was spot welded in place.
Im guessing the bolt hole in my winch drum was an attempt to hold the ferrule in place.

I'll proceed forward and see what happens...….again many thanks for the help.
Have a good day...…..Bill
