Hi All,
While stripping the D4 7U 37855 engine i noticed that the dowels where missing, can someone please tell me if the dowels that locate the sump onto the engie are no longer required? I have looked in the parts book and there is no part number showing in them.

Regards

Daryl

Your welcome. The only thing that used dowels under there on later engines was the crank balancer housing to the block.
