Got two of the three 955's moved to the yard today. WooooHoooo I'm a giddy as a school boy
One more move on Monday and I'll be shooting in tall cotton. The 1957 955C was setting on or across a septic line or the like; the guys I hired to move made the call not to use the big truck and trailer - good call cuz I don't want to buy anybody's poop got enough of my own.
Now for the hard part; I've got a parts list from here to Canada, that is not the hard part - reading my own handwriting is like pulling teeth down right painful. Shoot I could have almost bought a tractor, trailer and got my Class A back for the price I paid to have them moved for me... I'm not use to have other people do my driving for me. My dad started me out in an old Johnny Cash* style Ford end dump had a 190 Cummings w/blower (210) with a 5 and a 3, when I was 10 years old - gear-nut.
Moved the leaves and crap out of the rails n guides and found I have a broken coil spring on the track tensioner for the 955E, 12A08263, D6 'POO buckets' (I think I can grab it and pull it like the spring in my writing pin)
