Hi there. I have one of these machines but it's been setting a lot of years in the back of a steel shed which is open on one end. The pony engine is free and I really have no further information on the tractor as the prior owner is deceased. I have started other pony engines in tractors and motor graders but all of those were controlled from outside the operator compartment. It appears you sit in the operator compartment to start, and engage this one. Before I start to working with it, I'd like to ascertain the correct way before inadvertently destroying something.

I'd really appreciate any help or guidance with this.

A little like D2. Push the knob on the left in to brake pinion - pull out quickly to engage - flip compression knob to right. Have 3 pages of procedure to large to send threw forum. Bob

I have the 3 page procedure but to large to send threw forum. Have the same machine - start pony warm up diesel - push the Knob on the left forward to brake pull out quickly to engage diesel when ready flop over compression lever on right. Can email . Bob
