Good afternoon! Putting together my fuel system for my D4 7U36219. I seem to be missing the plunger on the fuel intake 8B8917. I can't see what it does exactly, it appears to keep fuel in the pump under spring pressure, but seems to me that it would not allow fuel to flow into the lift pump due to the direction the valve is in the pump. I hope that makes sense. CAT stocks the plunger at $88.23! There must be a better way
The gasket for the top of the lift pump, where it goes into the bottom of the filter tower, is 8F9276. There also appear to be some orings around the bolts on the corners. I cannot find a number for them. Any help or suggestions?
Thank you all for your help and suggestions!

It takes three O-rings around the studs, 4F1466 which change to 1H1023. And a 7B0305 seal/o-ring around the ferrule between the pump and filter housing. There is a port that let the fuel in and one to recirculate back into the pump. There should be three studs and one capscrew holding the pump to the filter housing, allot of times the studs turn out and guys will use bolts instead, wrong.
