Cat 22 generater gear diameter?

I know that generators for 22s have been discussed many times but the gear seems to be unavailable. I know from reading the parts manual and searching ACMOC that the gear is 22 tooth, but I dont know the original diameter. I was just getting a magneto ready to send to Old Croak and realized that it has a 22 tooth helical gear. Does anyone know the required diameter of the original? Maybe this would work for a drive. Thanks, Grant.

Grant, I get 2 25/64" as the outside diameter.

Thanks Pete, I will measure carefully today. It is on a single cylinder magneto so I dont know if it is strong enough for a generator or not. Old Croak should be able to tell if the gear is available new or used. This may get interesting. Grant.

Darn, it measured 2 1/8". OH WELL, I thought I might have discovered something. Thanks for measuring the original. Grant.
