A year ago I bought this used pump after being told it came off a Cat D4, can someone please identify it for me, I'm curious what company made it and what it's output is.
Many thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
do not recall any D4's
in my time with small diameter straight and long input shafts or even steel centre housings.
With what looks to be a key way right at the end of the pump input shaft, one would suspect that a bolt hole would be in the outer end of said shaft--or not--to retain a drive adapter.
May be an aftermarket implement pump fitted to a D4 to run some other unknown attachment out on a farm
I stand to be corrected.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

I couldn’t tell you the make, but it is possible it was mounted on the left hand side of the engine, say a D4C? No drive gear on it though, that would be a giveaway then if you could’ve counted the teeth

Thanks for the feedback, there is no name on the pump, just a large letter W so I have no idea what brand it is, I thought someone would recognize it straight away, maybe it is a oriental knockoff from the land of near enough is good enough.
All the best
Mike
