Totally O. T. - but interesting 'cos yer didn't see many of 'em as dozers. And it'z OLD. I reckon they'd be like hen's teeth and rocking horse manure in the U. S., but there are few bare crawlers still kicking DowNunda.

I hear Europe calling you for your next holiday. You might like to turn some of our European members loose on locating one for you.

As you may have noticed from that video, starting them is fun. This one is in DowNunda. (The orange tractor in the right of the video appears to be an Australian-built Chamberlain Super70D with a 3-71 GM diesel.)

And this one is somewhere in Europe, maybe Italy.

They are what is known as a semi-diesel in that you had the pre-heat the cylinder head before you could start them. They have a pretty distinctive 'bark'.

thanks. i enjoy watching vids of the fishermen operating their semi diesel engines. especially when they change direction.
