it has taken me 17 years to get both D6 9U up and running to take a picture of them pulling winter freighting sleighs like the day they both sunk together and spent 3 years under water. the Bismark still has to get his blade on and a few more adjustments before mounting and using the seat fuel tank. in the mean time the boat motor tank gives the cat 1 hour of fun before refilling. plus the Bismark was running when he went down and hydrauliced the 2 cylinder causing the connecting rods to bend but no damage to the liners. The Hood only needed the mud cleaned out of the oil pan and has been running steady since 2005. not sure which order the pictures came out.

Hi, KoO.
The immortal Swishy would probably tell you that the bent rod would 'buff right out'.
It is good to see both them both up and about together again - even from this safe - and much warmer - distance. Thanks for sharing.

Well done to rescue those two machines.
I”m curious, what is the machine being towed in the fifth picture, the one with the front skids?

Hi, gauntjoh.
I wondered about that too and guessed at a Linn tractor. Let us see what the oracle has to say.

thansk guys, we were hopeing to film the cats, linns and sleighs this winter season but the beer flu has everything shut down. we had hoped for a Hollywood Film crew but they were not interested so as a last resort a retired Porn Film Director would have done but that didn't happen either. so now we will spend the next week filming and taking pictures of 10 sleighs, 12 cats all having fun in the snow. to have this many collectables up and running in the cold weather means they are not Parade Queens but working winter freighting cats.
more to come
