What do you guys recommend for a match of the hi way yellow for my D2? I was reading several old threads on this, and looking for something I can still buy in gallons and spray cans.

I've used krylon new equipment yellow #1944. It's pretty close and you can get spray cans or gallons

Cat Dealer price $22.xx a spray can, Quality brand at local hardware store...$7.xx, you can do the mathematicals...:tsk:

The cat dealer in my area said they discontinued the hi way yellow when I gave part number. They do have the newer paint, but I would like something that would match the old paint.

Get a paint card from the ACMOC Store and take to a paint supply business and they can scan the card and make/mix paint to match.

Ron I will call my paint store next week he should have it in my account if he doesn’t I have it down in CA. Where I have been doing the work I am waiting this virus thing to settle down to go back,my paint store has the paint chip and number in there book I think there is 4 yellows including that ugly brown yellow. Hi, Folks.
Rustoleum has a spray pack that they call "old Caterpillar yellow", supposed to be the original 'Highway Yellow'. Has anybody tried it?

A kew-ree-yuss mind would like to know.
