I am not new to the forum but this is my first post. I am restoring a Ht4, it is in the final stages but I have run into a problem and need some help. As you can see the pins are very worn. Can these pins be removed and replaced? If so how? How are they held in? Is it just a press fit or is there some kind of retainer? Any comments or suggestions would be great.

What is an H14?? It appears to me that the shafts are a pressed in type so possibly the best bet is take it where they have a press and press the old ones out and then press the replacement ones in. It,s possible the casting could be heated and get the old ones out by driving on them but is a question and then the next problem to get the new ones back in.

Ag Mike the T on my screen looked just like a 1 so that,s what questioned me. No I know what an HT4 is as I,ve worked on dozens of them at the Cat dealer I worked for.So many people mix regular letters with capital letters that it,s hard to make them out sometimes esp. like a T (t) as the regular one looks like a one (1).Yes they were basically the old D4 7U with the loader assem. attached to it.Talking about the HT4 one time I went to a local land fill to work on their HT4 and what a mess and the belly pan was full of rats running around from it.
