Booster is located under the seat and fuel tank. Fill pipe and spigot to check the level extends to the rear. Uses 30wt engine oil.

Checked it has oil in it. And without the engine running you cannot pull the levers at all so there is for sure oil working them.
As for adjustment of the clutches. How do you go about doing that?

When you pull the handles back, they both bottom out against the clevis's for the control assemblies.
Is this normal or are they supposed to disengage before that point?

Took a quick look at the system and it looks like there are adjustments on the rods and such, but not sure if that is for the booster or actuators.

Thanks, Rob.

Free movement spec for the steering clutch levers is 2.62"
Adjustment is at the steering clutch yokes in the main case. Access is through covers on each side.

Hi Guys.

Was wondering about this old girl.
Looked into the case. Mine is a bit of a pain. The seat frame assy is held down and wrapped around the cases.
You can lift the piece off without pulling the bolts above the filter assy's in the back.

But then of course you probably could have adjusted it from there in the first place.

Now the yokes are right up against the levers on the inside of the rotation lever does that mean the clutch is worn out?

Does the lever pull the release bearing in towards the middle of the unit? If that is the case there is no more movement.

Yet the clutches do not slip and you cannot release them fully. It will turn but it has to slip the clutch!

What are new discs worth and are they available?

Thanks, Rob.
