on buddy barry's caterpillar 12 grader, the lift arm thing always breaks. i have in the past done a quick fix and it always came back at the end of the snow season broken. so last summer, i welded it like no tomorrow and of course the lift arm thing broke from whacking a rock in road gear. my weld held but bent the high grade bolts and created a new place to crack out. all i told buddy barry is my welds held, LOL

Easy on yourself there. Don't be so hard on yourself. Nice weld-work, it looks like you might have your hands full with the next one. Post a few photos of the saga once your done.

Maybe "buddy barry" does this on purpose just to visit you...

Good Sunday Morning, KoO. You sent me your book for Christmas, and I took it with me to Peoria, Illinois, when I went there for this year's annual
ACMOC board meeting. I have read the entire book; finished it last night. It was very entertaining! I will have some questions arising from the book, and hope to e-mail them to you in the next couple of weeks. Maybe an article in the ACMOC magazine about your Cat Train operation would be good for our members. I must thank you with a grateful heart for sending your marvelous book to me. GWH

gwh, i mailed the book out to all the people who have been nice to me in the past. i remember you sending me about 10 cds with a booklet on what is on the cds. i watch the cds on my laptop in the caboose during a snow storm.

i had a fellow from redpower buy the book and pay with paypal. so when i mailed the book to him, i included his money back to him because he had helped me out during southern belle's illness. i learned a long time ago, money doesn't make happiness.
