Hi Guys:

Can anyone on friendly terms with a Cat dealer in the USA assist with getting hold of a service manual # SENR2074

I'm getting a lot of blank stares over here in the UK on this one!

It is for a CAT 1Y73 research diesel engine, we have two of these here that we saved from the scrapyard back in 2006.

I need the book sending to a Gilbert AZ address rather than the UK, although direct posting would save a bit of time.

Payment by cash $$'s by registered post or by PayPal, whichever is convenient. Time is not an issue, we already have the parts book courtesy of a guy in Cat's head office.

Engine pictures are on our websites at:

www.stationary-engine.co.uk/Caterpillar/CaterpillarMenu.htm
or
www.oldengine.org/members/diesel/Caterpi.../CaterpillarMenu.htm

We are taking one of these to Holland next month to the Neunen engine show as a non-runner with a Heenan & Froude DPX-2 dynamometer, pic's later.

Many thanks,

Peter

I have seen a few of those engines at equip. shows and the ones I saw were used for testing out oils and the ones I saw were a one or two cyl. version of a regular production engine.I can,t help you on any books and is there any made for them as they weren,t production engines.
