This may be off topic but where else do would you go for info.

I have run across that is a Grader called WARCO, not WABCO, I looked at the name plate on the front nose and saw WARCO and thought someone had done a name change, till I found the ID plate in the operators compartment and it diffinatly says WARCO, powered with a 4 cyln Detroit and is tandom drive, looks to be the size of a #12 and has a 12' moldboard, the ID plate may have something else on it and I was remiss in getting all the info, what is this thing.

Don't quote me on this but I think Warco was connected to the Huber co in Marion Ohio. I don't know who bought out who but there was some sort of connection.
I think this is an old Warco although not a tandem drive. Huber Museum in Marion

Jim the ebay ad looks like the one here, but this is quite a ways out here from home, it may have been a cal trans machine, in pretty decent looking shape and I'm told it runs.

I have prepared a lot of roadbase for paving with those old Huber Maintainers,they are very capable machines for what they are.
I found that it helps a lot to get as close as you can with the dozer first so that you never have to push a lot of bulk and they work pretty good.They are not fancy by todays standards and slow to be sure but have done a lot of work over the years.
They were designed to maintain unpaved roads,very common in those days and probably targeted to municipalities but I smile whenever I see one and reminisce about the old days.Ron G;)
