RD4 Caterpillar project

I've been currently working on this RD4 fixing leaks, working the starting pinion over. After putting a new thermostat, and cleaning the water jacket of the pony engine, I've finally been able to start without starting fluid:) it did take 15 minutes to get the block hot enough, hopefully after a little work out it will get better. Right now I am wondering if someone can help me with some part #s for this oil filter which is not in my parts manual, alls I need is the #s for the filters, O Rings and the gasket or the copper ring that goes under the bolt head on top.

soon I will be going into the rear end, making popping noises when  , hopefully not bearings, and one of the stearing clutches slips

Thanks for any help or information

Can't help ya with the filter but for o rings and copper gasket you might try a good automotive parts house or hydraulic shop.

A lot of the early D4's and D2's had that filter. I have a few old old cats like that in the pile.

This week I decided to take a look at the rear end to find the noise I've been hearing, well, take look close look at the final drive gear in the picture, two teeth missing, and thats not all, one of the locks for the shifting forks was dangling, because the bolt and spring that holds it up broke, what kept it from getting messed up worse, I don't know, This broke gear is a straight tooth and a D4 has a curved to tooth, will both the gears interchange? probably going to have to replace the drive gear that runs this one also so the gears don't bind up. I'll be looking for gears if anyone knows of any
