Thanks SJ. I talked with Mike at Foley Cat this afternoon and my main bearings are done and being double checked. I can't wait to get them so I can take the crank to be turned. Mike has done a good job for me, one of the main bearings had to be remade, durring shipment to him it was damaged, so that has been the hold up. The D2 has been in family since 1968, when Dad purchased to use on our fruit farm. He is 81 this year and still wants to be a part of keeping this antique running. I have been having fun being able to spend quality "Cat" time with him on this project. If there are any other issues to be aware of I'm all ears. I have done 3 or 4 other engines, but talking with more knowlageable people always helps.
