D4 winch info

Does anyone have a breakdown or picture of a D4 BW 6882 Hyster winch, particularly of the brake side? It would seem Sum Wan got in there and built some of his own parts. I can't get it to lock up tight enough to pull much of a load, even after I hosed the brake drum and band off with several cans of brake cleaner.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Downloaded the .pdf file for the 4N winch and found there are differences between the 4N (drum and internal expanding shoes) and 4 (drum and external band) winches but there's enough information and similarities that will set me on a different track, Maybe I'll lick this thing yet. . .
