Hi!! Is there any information on the 9F5094 American Bosch generator (American Bosch model # GRB 640 B 203) out there becides the parts list? I am looking for field resistance shaft end play etc.

Here's what I have:

Brush Spring tension 9 - 13oz

@70deg F. Total resistance of the generator field circuit
should be 2.18 ohms +/- 10%

Test for balanced field coils (equal amperage)

Max rated output 6V-40a @ 1070 rpm

Max service load 30a

Cut in speed (hot - no load) 600 rpm

Max full load rpm 3500 rpm

No mention of thrust (I'd assume it is controlled by the condition of the bearings and the available travel in the end housing to take care of expansion)( found reference of 0.010 to 0.040 on another unit)

I'd copy the page but it is in a binder that is about 6 inches thick and I really don't want to take it apart;)

Added edit.....warns not to interchange pole shoes...always return to original position.
