I thought some might enjoy seeing an old toy. My father worked for a trade organization in Washington D.C. called the National Mining Congress. He went to a lot of trade shows and I think this is one of the things he brought back for the kids. We used to play with it so it's not in pristine condition but I like it better this way. It's a D7 made by the Reuhl Products Co. It's almost 9 inches long. I'm not sure of it's age. He worked there right after WWII until he died in 1956.

Personal opinion here....that's one heck of a fine model in my book. Looks just like an old 3T D-7 I had for the longest time.

Reuhl Products Inc was liquidated in 1958, so the tractor was manufactured before 1958. The D7 was the first diecast Caterpillar model manufactured with introduction in 1950.
Andy Reul was the sole owner of the company located in Madison, Wisconsin. Andy was a good engineer who did all the design and manufacturing process engineering of the Reuhl toys and models. Unfortunately, he did not pay enough attention to his customer relationships. Caterpillar was the first relationship to come apart and Massey Harris a close second. These were his two largest customers and thus the demise of Reuhl Products.
Reuhl also manufactured a DW10 and scraper, a #12 Motorgrader, and a pull type ripper for the D7, as well as models and toys for many other manufacturers.
Andy Reul passed away in 1983.
Note: Andy Reul added an h when he named Reuhl Products Inc.
That is probably more than you wanted to know about Reuhl Products Inc models. But, they are one of my favorites, second only to the ACMOC models, of course:)
