I have a D47j that is leaking fuel where the pumps attach to the fuel injection housig.When I take the pumps off what what kind of gaskets do they have.Do they have to be readjusted when you remove them.

Hi RRJoe,
There are no gaskets....uses part # 2A3349 ferrule seals....one for each pump.
You do not have to re-adjust the pumps to change the seals but it would be a good time to check them. Be careful that the plungers do not fall out of the pumps when you remove them.

OM, that number you gave was for the ferrule 2A3349 but the seal he needs to correct the leak is 2A3307 so he,ll need 4 seals.Joe make sure if the pump plunger gets out of the rack when you remove them then make sure the line (mark) on the pump plunger gear lines up with the line on the rack bar or the pump will be out of time & cause a miss or erratic running.

Hi RRJoe,
Should not be a problem getting seals, same ones used on later models.
Gasket material won't work......more like an "O" ring.
