Hauled the grader the 50 miles home yesterday. Unloaded and gave it a try on some washed out road. Works very well. Even brakes work. Main problem is they stopped using the pony a few yrs ago because generator went out. From then, they just pulled it to start. I hope to get the pony back going. I didn't know how I'd like the mechanical controls instead of Hyd. But they work super good and smooth. When time permits will see if pony has any fire at the plugs and go from there. LB

OK---1951. That's just a spring chicken. I started to do some checking on the pony. Gas tank
rust inside as expected. I removed and put some gravel in it and gave a a period of shaking then cleaned with water hose. If it gives a problem will get a can of coating and do that route. I'm hoping the mag has fire. If not---I bet the points are CAT issue????
Thanks for lookingup the date for me. The hour meter has 700 some hrs on it so guess it may have rolled at 10000. Or not working. Foot petals have very nice tread left so not worn slick. But 700 hrs on a 1951 is too much to hope for.
