thirty five diesel was created by grogon

Can someone help me find the proper make and model of magneto for the pony motor for a thirty five diesel. I am helping friends work on thiers and it seems that it does not have the correct mag on it. Thanx

Well it has a fairbanks mag on it , so will try to find the correct mag for it...any ideas ?

It is not easy to find the GV 2Q mags. I have found most of them for my tractors at swap meets and farm sales. Most people will resort to RC 2Q as a substitute. They seem to pop up on EBay quite often.

Were these used on a lot of the pony motors, I do know where there may
be some old cat equipment that has pony motors although maybe not that old.
