ACMOC D6 Thermometer---what series D6?

I ordered one of the new ACMOC D6 Thermometors
it came in today and looks great. Much larger than I anticipated
measures (roughly 8" x 24")---a real "wall hanger".

Ordered this as a gift for one of my buddies that has an early D6C----he also has a large collection of model toys
I figured he would get a kick out of the thermometer.

My question is: what series (model) D6 is the one illustrated on the thermometer
and approximately what years would it have been manufactured??? I can readily tell its an earlier model than the D6C---but wanted to verify what we are dealing with here.

Know that question will definitely come up
hopefully, I will be one up on him when the "great discussion" starts.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. (tried attaching copy of illustration from Shopping Forum----but picture would not transfer)
I went ahead and splurged for myself by ordering $5 worth of ACMOC decals. They will look good on the "watermelon truck".:D

With the air cleaner up forward that would be the 4R-5R series with the D4600 engine (1941-1947)

Thanks Magnet
might be of interest to you that my buddy's D6C is equipped with a factory 3 pt. hitch (may have been manufacutred by Rome??), plus the hydraulic dozer----they used it for subsoiling back in the early 60's, plus have pushed alot of dirt around on the farm.

Its been a good tractor----needs some work on the hydraulic steering valves----hopefully, he will get the itch to get it back to going. Its still in pretty good shape.

Keep an eye out for me on my farmer buddy down in the valley below you. Are you sure those things are squash
I always called them gourds. Must be time consuming----painting them all those different colors:rolleyes: :D

Hello DD,
Would be interested in seeing a pic of that D6C three point if you could.:D
Don't know about the squash farming.....hardly see anything of the farmer either, between apple season and squash. Cat play has definitely taken a down turn. Keep looking for some funny leaves amongst the squash but so far they are hidden:) May be watermelons next:rolleyes:

Magnet---

Will try to get some pictures for you in a few days----not sure that the 3 pt. is mounted on the tractor as of now. Tractor is sitting under implement shed---will check on it for you.

I do definitely know that it is just a conventional 3 pt hitch
it did not have the "Magnetic Quick Hitch" attachment like some of the West Coast units have.;) :D
